If you love your coffee then a visit to Yahava Koffeeworks while you are in the Swan Valley is a must. It’s the full coffee tasting and demonstrating experiene, and it’s a lovely location to just sit back and enjoy a coffee too.

There is lots of retro style lounge seating inside, some of the seating is lounge style so you can sit back and relax and enjoy your coffee. They also have basic light hot food, we enjoyed a croissant each, and sweet treats like muffins to compliment your coffee.

My son loved having a little play with the coffee machine coffee table while we waited for our drinks and meals, and there are some great spots indoors – especially in winter, to relax and enjoy your coffee.

There are also tables and chairs under the outside verandah that extend out to the grassed area too.  There is also a plastic kids table for dining or doing some colouring in, over looking the dam at the rear of the property.  We brought a picnic along and enjoyed our coffee, milkshakes and croissants out on the grass.

The kids played football and loved rolling down the grassy hill – and usually on Sundays there is a free to use bouncy castle – so this got well used too.

Yahava Koffeeworks is a great place to visit with kids, there’s plenty of room for them to run around and all the facilities you need with baby change table and highchairs available. – and of course if you love coffee you’ll love the whole coffee experience including sitting down to enjoy your delicious Yahava coffee.

And if you feel like something more substantial Penny Gardens (Licensed) Restaurant is right next door (the Sunday bouncy castle is usually located right between Yahava and Penny Gardens) and you can dine inside or outside if the kids want to have a run around.

What to bring: a ball to kick around, a picnic rug if you want to sit out on the lawn or just incase there are no tables available
