Hanging beachside doesn’t get much more relaxed than 96 Express Cafe North Beach. Place your order, pull up a bean bag, chill by the sea and let the day pass you by.
96 Express Cafe is located in the North Beach Shopping Centre complex and faces West Coast Drive, next to the Davey Real Estate Office. It’s very casual, the staff are lots of fun, and they have a beautiful range of healthy foods and drinks and of course the views are awesome.
When you go in to place your order you will find the juices, smoothies and fruit bowl menu as well as the drinks menu. You can also choose something to eat from the display cabinet, it’s filled with light meals as well as sweet and savoury treats.
The kids have their very own menu of fruit crushers or smoothies. Kids drinks start from around $6.50.
We totally love the set up here. All the seating is outdoors and it’s very casual with bean bags as well as tables and chairs at the front. If you have a child who likes to sit and be with you, you will love 96 Express. If you have a child who likes to run this probably isn’t the best place for you to try and relax as the front is open to West Coast Drive.
I had just been for a coastal walk and was after something healthy so I ordered the mango & acai bowl with a ginger beer Kombucha. The smoothie bowl was absolutely amazing and it was so relaxing enjoying it while sitting in a bean bag and looking over the ocean. Good food, good vibes and a good view. It doesn’t get much better than that.
If you love to relax, enjoy healthy food and take in great views, then you will love 96 Express. They are open daily and are ready and waiting to make you a delicious coffee, smoothie, juice or smoothie bowl. Next sunny day enjoy a walk along the beach or the coast then pop in to check it out. We highly recommend it! Oh and don’t forget Charles Riley Reserve Playground is just down the road so you could enjoy a play then a coffee before or after your play.
