Beatty Park Leisure Centre is located in North Perth and underwent an upgrade with the new indoor pool play features opened in August 2021 and the new water slides due to open soon. It’s the perfect aquatic centre for families to enjoy all year round with both indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities.
The indoor play area design makes it easy to watch and stay close to your children. The splash area has a shallow “beach” entry and is no more than thigh height throughout, making it easy to wade through with your little one and the little frog slide is definitely a hit in this area.
This area now also includes an arrangement of water sprays, a tipping bucket and netball hoops.
As part of the August 2021 upgrade, accessible change rooms have been added alongside the indoor pool area.
And everyone’s favourite two new water slides. One enclosed and one open water slide. Kids 120cm+ can ride the slides unsupervised. Those under this height must be supervised by a person over 16 years in the water.
Outdoors is a grassed area, a large lap pool and dive pool. Beatty Park Leisure Centre also features a spa, sauna and group fitness classes, and if it’s swimming lessons you are after – have a chat to the Beatty Park Swim School within the centre.
After your swim, you can enjoy some lunch or an ice-cream from the cafe. Both the Beatty Park Leisure Centre and the cafe are open daily.
