Cheltondale Park Madeley is a beautiful piece of suburban bushland with a lovely little, naturally shaded, bush themed playground. A sign about the trees at this park indicates there are 100 mature trees, with 7 being identified as significant given their size and environmental value. This piece of bushland is significant and is a important conservation area.
There are two sections to this playground. One features swings, balancing log, a spinning table and a balancing see-saw.
Not far from here is the 2nd play area with small play structure that includes a slide and a couple of lovely little bouncing play features all in a bush theme to match the natural setting of this playground.
Cheltondale Park Madeley is a small suburban playground so there are no toilets or bbqs here. However it is a lovely place for a play and to enjoy a natural setting. There is a picnic table for enjoying a packed lunch and some grassed area if you would like to have a picnic.
