Chilli Waters Golf Margaret River is set on large property that features amazing gardens, lots of shady trees and long rolling greens. You can choose a family game of Supa Putt (mini golf) or Big Ball Golf (super golf).
We weren’t sure if we wanted to play Big Ball Golf or Supa Putt, so they let us have a little go of the Big Ball Golf to try it out before we decided. Our youngest wasn’t keen on too much walking so we decided on Supa Putt (mini golf) but will definitely return when he’s older to enjoy Big Ball Golf. Big Ball Golf uses larger clubs and balls and is played on 18 large courses. If you have trouble deciding also, you can choose to mix it up with 9 holes of Supa Putt and 9 holes of Big Ball Golf.
Don’t worry if you have never played golf before Big Ball Golf is for everyone and all the equipment is provided.
So it was onto the Supa Putt Mini Golf Course for us. This is an 18 hole course set amongst beautiul gardens that feature lots of bamboo and fruit trees and wrought iron artwork.
Our boys love their mini golf, there’s always competition between them and going back to the start to clear their stroke count when things aren’t going their way. You couldn’t ask for a nicer back drop to enjoy a good dose of family competition. We enjoyed a late afternoon game, so the gardens were just stunning as the sun started to set. Last tee off is 4pm daily and you should allow around 40mins to complete the course. It’s all flat and grassed so you can access with a pram or wheelchair.
Once you’ve finished your 18 holes, you can head back to the office to return your equipment here you can enjoy a small range of drinks and snacks to enjoy on the deck overlooking the gardens and water (just watch little ones close around this water).
Chilli Waters Big Ball and Supa Putt Golf is open daily from 10am daily with the last tee off at 4pm. You can choose to do one or the other or a mix of both. Supa Putt is $10.50pp for 18 holes and Big Ball Golf starts from $13.50 pp for 9 holes and it’s $20.50pp to do 9 holes of Supa Putt and 9 holes of Big Ball Golf. While you are there you may also like to visit the Margaret River Silk Road and Margaret River Chocolate Factory that are on the same road.
