The Hotham River Foreshore Playground Boddington finally opened to the public in November 2020, and is the perfect family road trip destination, just 1 hr and 40 mins south east of Perth and will so much to do and explore at this fabulous, recently upgraded foreshore location. If you want to make the most of your trip you best be prepared. With not just an amazing adventure playground, but a skate park, pump track, access to the river and a popular swimming hole nearby you might need to take the trailer to bring along your bikes, scooters, skateboards, kayaks and stand up paddle boards.
The playground itself is well worth the drive with lots of adventure play features. It includes a flying fox, water play and lots of nature based play.,
In addition to the playground there is a skate park, pump track, basketball court and outdoor gym, perfect for active families to play and exercise together.
The park includes full facilities that include toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and seating. There is also a popular swimming hole called Ranford Pool that’s a 4km return walk (approx 1 hour) from the Hotham River Foreshore area. Read more about this trail at www.boddington.wa.gov.au.
