Arts & Crafts Activities * Cafe * Drop Off * Drop In * Kids Parties * Close to Wanneroo Showgrounds Bus Stop * Open Tues – Fri , 9-5pm* Recommended for 3yrs +
Krafty Kidz Wanneroo is the place to go if you want to get the kids out of the house for some creative fun when it’s too hot outside, too wet or when you just can’t be bothered with all the mess at home!
If you go for a Drop In Session (recommended for 3yrs + but younger children are welcome of course as long as they can hold a brush or pencil they will enjoy it too), it’s $9 and the crafts are all set up on separate tables. Every time we used something the staff were right there to replenish the stations so they are always set up and ready to go.
The crafts are changed daily too so you are guaranteed a different arts and crafts experience each time you go and you can go round the tables as many times as you like as part of the $9 Drop In entry fee per child.
Art Smocks are provided and if your kids want to do the painting maybe get this done first so it can be left to dry before you head home.
My kids favourite activity was the beados. My daughter created a hippy peace sign and my son did a scooter. The designs are on the table and the kids just have to follow the design to create their master piece. The staff then iron their beados so they stick together to create their masterpiece.
There is a limited cafe with hot and cold drinks and some lollies and other sweet treats. There was a $5 coffee and cake special on during our visit.
At this stage there aren’t any high chairs or a baby change table but there may be at a later date.
Krafty Kidz also offer booked Drop Off Sessions (for kids 6yrs+) – they are fully supervised for 2 hours. So this might be a good option to have your kids looked after on a casual basis to get the shopping done or attend that doctors appointment.
You can also book a Mummy and Me session ($15 per child, $25 for two children during term time only), this includes access to the craft activity tables, craft item to make together and take home, morning/afternoon tea (mini cupcake, mini quiche, coffee, babycino or fruit juice for two).
Krafty Kidz Wanneroo also host self catered and catered birthday parties Tuesday – Saturday also – contact Krafty Kidz for package prices.
My kids had a fantastic time at Krafty Kidz Wanneroo, we spent a few hours here, and it was so lovely and relaxing doing crafts together with my kids and not having to worry about doing all the cleaning up. If you are looking for a quieter alternative to a play centre and you want to spend some nice quiet quality time with your kids check out Krafty Kidz Wanneroo.
