Palace CInemas is located in the top level of Raine Square in Perth city. It features nine traditional cinemas and four Platinum boutique cinemas all fitted with leather reclining seats.
We loved the intimate size of the traditional cinemas, it was a bit like having some of the luxuries of gold class like a bigger, reclining leather seat but without the extra ticket cost. Our cinema had 8 seats in each row across 5 rows, so only 40 seats. The kids thought it was like the best thing ever.
If you want a more luxury experience you can choose to watch your movie in Palace Platinum where you can also enjoy a private bar and lounge and during movie wait service. All cinemas are licensed so you can take alcoholic drinks purchased at the bar in with you, and have them served to you in Palace Platinum.
You can get all your favourites from the candy bar like pop corn (you’ll love their olive oil popcorn!), drinks, coffee, choc tops, lollies etc plus a range of hot foods and delicious desserts from the menu in Palace Platinum. There are three luxury bar areas a Palace Cinemas so you can enjoy a drink and a snack before or after the movie, and take any drinks into the cinema with you.
For parents with little ones you will love the Babes in Arms Sessions. They run on Thursdays during the school term and you get a free platinum upgrade for $15. Find the Babes In Arms screening schedule and get your tickets here.
Of course when heading into the city we recommend that you catch the train, but if you do drive your car you can have your parking ticket validated to take advantage of the first two hours free at Wilson carparks. Find more information on parking on the Palace Cinemas website (linked below)
Palace Cinemas Raine Square has brought back all the fun and nostalgia of heading into the city to watch a movie. You’ll love the small, intimate cinemas and the leather reclining seats in each cinema.
