Perth AIrport Viewing Platform Features: Viewing Platform | Sheltered Seating Area | Free Parking | Full Pram / Disabled Access | No Toilets
The Perth Airport Viewing Platform is a great place to take the kids to see the airplanes take off and land at Perth Airport. Located on Dunreath Drive between the Perth Domestic Airport and the Perth International Airport, the Perth Airport Viewing Platform will no doubt be a hit with any little one that loves planes.
The viewing platform is access by a short boardwalk which provides for full disabled and pram access. It’s open April to September 730am – 530pm & October to March 630am – 7pm..
If you’re lucky enough on the day you may get to see planes landing or taxing right in front of the platform, otherwise you still get a good view of them taking off and landing on the other runways. On the platform there is plenty of shaded seating, so it’s a great spot to have a coffee and a light packed lunch or snack. If you have a set of binoculars don’t forget to bring them along.
If you have a little one who loves planes, then a visit to the Perth Airport Viewing Platform is an absolutely must.
