Robinson Reserve Playground Tuart Hill Features: Playground | Nature Based Play | Skate Park | Half Court Basketball | Football Goals & Oval | BBQs | Picnic Shelters | Water Fountain | Toilets
The Robinson Reserve Playground received an upgrade mid 2019 with a new playground that includes a small skate park and half court basketball alongside the already existing sports oval with football goals. It’s also located behind the Osborne Park Library that runs regular Baby Rhyme Time and Preschool Story Time events.
The main playground is more suited to toddlers and young children, with small climbing frames, monkey bars, slides and a fairly low level play structure.
Little ones will love the diggers in the sandy area and the small bouncy ride bike and seat alongside the basket swing.
And of course some role play at the kitchen, cafe or shop window.
There is a good mix of man made and natural shade with shade sails over part of the playground and trees planted within the playground and surrounding established trees maintained. A nature based play section is located alongside the double swing set with balancing logs and also upright logs located in the middle of the playground.
If you are a family like ours with bigger kids that are a getting to the age where playgrounds are “boring” this park is perfect with a youth zone located at the top of the park that features a mini skate park and half court basketball (with netball ring on the side).
The playground is located alongside a sports oval with footy goals at each end, so you can have a run around and kick the footy at this park too.
Picnic shelters, a water fountain and BBQs are found within the playground area, with a larger picnic shelter between the playground and the Osborne Park library, as well as a automatic toilet block only a short stroll from the playground – making this a great place too meet with family and friends, or perhaps host a birthday party.
Speaking of the Osborne Park Library, they hold Baby Rhyme Time Mondays 10.30 – 11am , Preschool Storytime 10.30 – 11am and Saturday Songs & Stories for kids 0-5 years from 10am – so perhaps you could add on of these events to your play at Robinson Reserve Playground Tuart Hill. Find Osborne Park Library event details here.
If you are looking for a park both little kids and big kids alike will enjoy then check out Robinson Reserve Tuart Hill. Oh and make sure you say hi to the resident cows while you are here – to remind you of the fabulous and long running Osborne Park Agricultural Show that is held every year at Robinson Reserve.
