Full of wonderful displays and information on Rottnest Island history and the surrounding marine environment. This is one of the places kids can go to get their Rottnest Island passports stamped and it is only gold coin donation entry (if they don’t have their free Rottnest Passport yet ask at the museum entry or go to the Salt Store and ask there!) Pack all the sports gear with community tennis courts, basketball court and football oval located on Rottnest Island. Tennis courts are located at Bathurst and Gordie Bay. A basketball hoop is also located at Bathurst.  A football oval is located near the campgrounds at Bathurst also. Play anytime no bookings required.

Free Guided Walking Tours

The Rottnest Voluntary Guides Association offers a range of free and educational guided walking tours available for all visitors to enjoy. Tours depart regularly from the meeting place outside The Salt Store in the Main Settlement and you can find signs beside the meeting point with walk times.
