Slate Cafe Bennett Springs is an amazing family friendly cafe in our beautiful Swan Valley, that is all kids of awesomenss with two kids play areas, lots of grassed area to run around and a Sunday session vibe you can enjoy all week long.
While Slate Cafe is an amazing place to enjoy while in the Swan Valley during the warmer months, you can also see how it will be great during winter too. This kids play area includes a sea container with two large door opening that features a climbing wall.
Outside the sea container is a shaded area with a few swings to choose from.

If you are a fur family there is a fenced dog playground so your dog can have a play too. Please note dogs must be kept on the lead at all times except while outside the dog exercise area.
The food is exceptional and you can enjoy anything from a large meal to just a coffee and cake. You can find the menu on their facebook (link below) and there is always lots to choose from in the front display cabinet. The menu includes a few kids meal options including nuggets and chip, scrambled eggs, fish and chips and french toast.

You can choose to dine on the deck or out on the lawn. They have music playing in the background which adds to the Sunday session vibe this place has. We love the little touches too like the sunscreen hanging up around the place. It shows that the family that have put Slate Cafe together have really thought of everything to make it truly family and paw friendly.
Slate Cafe is open daily for breakfast and lunch (see website link below for up to date open hours) and is a must if you are in the Swan Valley, whether it be for somewhere to eat or just to grab a coffee, with kids, without kids, or with the family dog – we are sure you will love it and be back again and again .
