The Swanbourne Beach Foreshore Pirate Playground is the perfect place to catch up with friends, with a fantastic little pirate ship themed, fully fenced playground and The Shorehouse right next to the playground to grab a coffee or bite to eat.
This playground is small but packed with features including role play and sand play and of course a great little pirate ship play structure and sit in boat.
The Shorehouse is located right next to the playground so you can grab a coffee to go or enjoy dining in before or after your play. It’s open daily, find open hours and the menu at www.shorehouse.com.au . You can also find toilets behind The Shorehouse.
Alongside the playground is also a large grassed area with BBQs and picnic tables.
Parking is located right near the playground and if this is full there is more parking behind The Shorehouse. While there is good access to the beach from the carpark, Swanbourne Beach is Perth’s only “clothing optional” beach, so if you are looking to enjoy a swim at the beach with the kids it may be better to head up to Cottesloe or the other way to Floreat.
Whether it’s a coffee and a fenced play with friends or somewhere to enjoy a BBQ or picnic, Swanbourne Beach Foreshore Pirate Playground is perfect.
