Village East Playground Whiteman Park Features: Playground | Water Playground (Seasonal) | Picnic Shelters | BBQs | Toilets | Cafe
The Village East Playground Whiteman Park was upgraded in 2019 and features a small but play packed, shaded playground alongside the free Whiteman Park Water Playground (open seasonally).
The playground is packed with play features including fireman’s pole, ramps, tunnels, cargo net, climbing wall and slides, lots of slides.
There’s also some ground level play making it a good playground for toddlers and older children with talk tubes and interactive play boards around the playground.
Alongside the playground is the Whiteman Park Water Playground. It’s open seasonally (October to April School Holidays), 10am – 5pm and it’s free to enter.
Picnic tables, BBQs, and toilets are located near the playground. If you want to book a shelter near the playground F, J1, J2 and Shade Shelters PP and WP are the closest options.
Village Cafe is just a short stroll away across the tram line and it’s open daily so it’s perfectly located to grab a coffee to enjoy at the playground or to dine in before or after your play.
The Village East Playground Whiteman Park is a lovely, nature rich spot to meet with friends for a play and a coffee and a splash at the Water Playground. Note: the Whiteman Park Tennis & Basketball is located near the Village East Playground. Bring your own rackets and balls or present with photo ID to loan equipment from the Visitors Centre.
