The Woodman Point Playground is located on a huge grassy reserve located within the John Graham Recreation Reserve Coogee and has all that you need for a day out in the sunshine.
This is a popular spot for families and friends to meet for birthday parties and gatherings with lot of large picnic shelters spread out across the reserve. There are plenty of BBQs in between the shelters too.
The Woodman Point Beach Kiosk is open daily and has a range for snacks, cool drinks, ice-cream and coffee to enjoy. There’s an shaded dining area at the front of the kiosk so this is a nice place to drop in and enjoy a coffee too. You can also get take away Indian dishes so you can have dinner for the sorted too. The playground here is a little outdated and is very busy with a mix of slides, monkey bars, tunnels, ramps and swings. It has both natural shade and shade sails in summer.
Bring your small bikes and scooters along too as there are lot of pathways to ride around on. There is good access to the beach from the John Graham Recreation Reserve Woodman Point, including the Woodman Point Jetty and showers and toilets are located behind the Woodman Point Beach Kiosk. Plenty of free parking is available alongside the reserve.
The Woodman Point Playground on the John Graham Recreation Reserve is a great place to spend the day away with friends picnicking, playing cricket, swimming at the beach, playing at the playground or just relaxing in the sunshine.
