Yagan Square Play Space Features: Playground | Water Play | Toilets with Baby Change Table | Water Fountain | Outdoor Shower | Cafes & Restaurants Nearby | Close to Train & Bus Station
The Yagan Square Play Space is located on roof top level of the Yagan Square Precinct Market Hall alongside the underground Perth Bus Port and Perth Train Station and boasts amazing views of Yagan Square and the city.
Before you head up, browse all the eateries below in the Yagan Square Precinct Market Hall. If you want to grab something to eat to take up to the rooftop play area to enjoy you are sure to find something to suit your tastebuds. Choose from Jersey Jack Gelato, The Shoe, Trouble Maker Burgers, Toast My Curry and more. The boys created their own doughnut at Lena Lu to take up to the rooftop to eat.
The rooftop is accessible from Market Hall by elevator. We headed up to the top and pulled up a seat alongside the playground to enjoy our doughnuts before we had a play.
My youngest boy can never resist water, so he was straight into the water play after finishing his Lena Lu doughnut. The water play feature runs all year round (10am – 6pm), but is closed Wednesdays (non toilet trained children are required to wear an aqua nappy).
The play space is better suited for younger children and talk tubes are a popular feature, so kids can chat with their friends from one side of the play space to the other.
There’s lots of adventurous features for little ones with rope climb cargo nets, rubber mounds to leap too and from.
And ropes to pull themselves up with so they can climb to the top and look down through the viewing window that looks right down into Market Hall.
And of course there is a dual slide so kids can race their friends, plus a tunnel to crawl through too.
Kids will love checking out the view and feeling like they are king of the castle while at the Yagan Square rooftop play space, on this amazing viewing deck with glass panels for the full view experience.
Yagan Square Play Space Perth is the perfect place to stop and play while in the city. It’s close to the busport, train station and Raine Square, so is very accessible while in the city.
