Aduro Park Mountain Bike Park is 1.57ha of suburban mountain bike trails with something for all bike riding levels and ages.
There’s something for all ages and skill levels with a beginner, intermediate and advanced MTB (mountain bike) trail plus junior bike/scooter track. It’s a wonderful addition to this already family activity focussed estate where you can also find the Kinkuna Adventure Playground nearby. Kinkuna Adventure Park features a multi sports court, exercise equipment, sports oval, water sprayground (water on in Summer) as well as the big adventure playground.
My 12yo and I both attempted the beginner and intermediate tracks, but weren’t game for the advanced tracks. It’s definitely a few levels up in skill and is for the serious mountain biker who knows what they are doing.
As well as compounded limestone tracks, there are also fixed obstacles both natural and man made in nature. One word of advice, do make sure you and your children are only using bikes with good tyre tread and brakes in full working order. You do really need both of these to control the bike down slopes and around corners. It’s a good idea to bring a basic first aid kit with you too, incase of scrapes and cuts.
For little ones there is a Junior Bike / Scooter track. It’s sealed with road markings and signs and obstacles.
Near the Junior Bike and Scooter Track is a small section of grass and a soccer goal, so pack a ball too, for some time out from bike riding.
There are no toilets or BBQs at Aduro Mountain Bike Park however there are both at the nearby Kinkuna Adventure Park. If you are driving a long way to visit Aduro Park, to make a day of it, we recommend you include a play at Kinkuna Adventure Park and maybe grab a meal at one of the amazing local family friendly restaurants or pubs like The Landing Alkimos , Oceans 27 Alkimos (nearTreasure Island Playground) or The Amberton (near the Lighthouse Adventure Playground). We loved Aduro Park so much we went back for a second round after lunch!
Kinkuna Adventure Park
There are a few sheltered picnic tables around the mountain bike park, as well as seating around the tracks and at the Junior Bike Track. A water fountain and bike repair station are located at the top of the park at the main beginner / intermediate and advanced track entries. The whole park is under 24 hour CCTV surveillance also.
Aduro Park Mountain Bike Park Allara Estate Eglinton is a must visit for families who love to ride their bikes, particularly those who are into mountain biking and there are so many fantastic playgrounds and family friendly restaurants nearby, so you can turn your visit into a far Perth northern suburbs road trip adventure.
