Alkimos Beach Fitness Park Features: Playground | Fitness Equipment | Water Fountain | No Toilets | No BBQs
There’s no excuse for the whole family not to get active at the Alkimos Beach Fitness Park, at this all in one fitness circuit and playground.
This playground is spread out over a large area with exercise equipment located in an elevated position too, so just exploring the park is good exercise too.
As far as play equipment there is a colourful slide that is accessed by a set of stairs that go up the rocky slope and a basket swing alongside the fitness rig.
The fitness rig is located under shade sales alongside the swing and balancing logs. It has a sign attached with ideas for exercises you can do, but exercise options include pullups, tricep dips, push ups and there are monkey bars for the kids (and grown ups) too.
Once you’ve had a play and a work out here, you can wander up the windy park to the top of the hill where you will get amazing views over the ocean and surrounding suburb. Up here is the top of a set of stairs and some more exercise equipment and features.
If you love finding Perth stairs to exercise at then you will love this park, it features a big set of colourful stairs and the view at the top is worth all the effort.
Here you can enjoy the view while you climb the stairs, do some box jumps, leaps, dips or sit ups.
The park doesn’t have any toilets or bbqs, there is a picnic shelter and a small grassed area so you may like to bring a packed lunch or snack to enjoy after your workout while the kids enjoy more of a play. Parking is found along the surrounding streets.
