The Apple Fun Park Donnybrook got a huge upgrade in 2021 and features play equipment for all ages – toddlers to teenagers at this fully fenced park in the Donnybrook Town Centre. If you loved the old Apple Fun Park, you’ll love this bigger, brighter version even more. Apple Fun Park Donnybrook is just over 2 hour drive from Perth.
The main play structure feature a huge apple crate tower, standing at 8m tall with suspension rope tunnel and two tall slides.
Play features for the bigger kids include a flying fox, 6 way swings, hurricane swing, climbing frames, spinning apple orb and more.
There’s plenty for all ages with a large well shaded toddler play area, in ground trampolines, lower level slides and role play features.
Make sure you bring the spare clothes along as there is a little water play feature in the shaded toddler play area.
There are some unique play features at this playground, like the hamster wheel.
And this push along ride on train.
The little fruit themed touches are also what makes this playground special.
Apple Fun Park Donnybrook is features full facilities with three large shelters, BBQs, water fountain and toilets with family changing facilities. A bike pump track is opening next to the playground soon too.
Just a stones throw away in The Park Donnybrook Cafe, with both indoor and alfresco dining and a large grassed area at the front with garden games to enjoy. It’s open Thursday – Monday, see their facebook for up to date opening information.
If you are thinking of heading down to Apple Fun Park Donnybrook for a day trip, making it part of your trip down south or perhaps enjoying a getaway to Donnybrook, you won’t be disappointed. As far as regional playgrounds go, they don’t get much better!
