Bailey Brewing Co located in Henley Brook in the Swan Valley is the ultimate family friendly brewery experience with stylish brewery dining and huge “backyard” complete with playground, flying fox and water play across the huge 10 acre property that faces West Swan Road.
Whether it be somewhere for coffee and cake or to enjoy the full brewery dining experience, Bailey Brewing Co caters for everyone, even the family dog.
The backyard playground is next level even by brewery standards with a brewery truck themed playground complete with four trucks, with open cabs kids can jump inside and role play that they are driving the truck.
The platform for the single cable flying fox is the back tray of one of the brewery trucks.
Two of the other truck trays form the platforms for the play areas with wooden barriers, ladders and a big concrete slide.
Alongside one of the trucks is a water pump, that pumps water “into the fuel tank” and out the other side of the truck into a trough. We all know the Swan Valley is about 5 degrees warmer than the city in the warmer months, so it’s a nice part of the play are to help the kids keep cool. This part of the playground is also well shaded with shade sails. The fourth truck has used the crane on the back of the truck as the swing a frame for the basket swing.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted by super friendly staff and our order was taken (and paid for) at our table really quickly even though it was busy. Our meals came out in good time and were delicious. The kids had the Kids Share Plate and Kids Slider both from the kids menu and there were no complaints, which is always a big win with my kids! They have a few different times in the kitchen with main menu, pizza menu and breakfast menu times (see website for kitchen times – link below).
We had our dog this us so we dined in the alfresco area, and we chose a table near the tv so my teenager could watch the cricket. Our dog got lots of pats and attention from the staff and they brought him out his own water bowl. Note: Dogs are allowed weekdays Tuesday – Friday.
The indoor dining hall is great too with brewing tanks located alongside the dining area and there are also two fire places located in the middle of the room, making it a lovely place to dine in winter too. All dining areas are well spaced out so there is plenty of room for prams.
You don’t need to sit down for a large meal either there is an big range of sweets on display and they serve tea, coffee, milkshakes and healthy smoothies too.
If you have little ones you’ll love the little brewery style kids bench seats and tables with umbrellas. There are lots of them around the place so you can bring one over to your outside table so the kids can eat independently alongside your table.
There is a spacious parents room alongside the toilets, with two baby change tables and a wash basin. Plenty of plastic high chairs are available for little ones.
The whole family will love Bailey Brewing Co, the atmosphere is relaxing, the playground is amazing and there’s lots of room to meet with friends and family over a meal and one of Bailey Brewing Co’s own beers, for the full Swan Valley experience. Bookings are recommended and walk ins are welcome too.
