Bindoon Bakehaus and Cafe is great place to stop for something to eat and a stretch of the legs if you are driving out of Perth to Gingin or heading further out of town on the Great Northern Highway. It’s located approx 95kms north east of Perth, so makes a lovely stop if you are out this way on a day trip.
Each day the Bindoon Bakehaus and Cafe bake fresh dough for the kids to use in the gorgeous little kids kitchen play area located inside. There is also a blackboard and wooden baby toys. You could also stay a while and enjoy some family games like UNO, chess or scrabble.
They have a beautiful range of pastries, cookies, cakes and slices treats to choose from at the counter.
You can also order light meals like pies, sausage rolls, savoury bakes and baugettes. I had a delicious toasted turkey and cranberry panini.
And of course there are all the kids favourites – you can’t go past a smiley face cookie
If you find yourself on a day trip out of Perth or heading further north along the Great Northern Hwy, make sure you pop into the Bindoon Bakehaus, you can’t drive through Bindoon without stopping and tasting their delicious bakery goodies.
