Broadbeach Park is hidden away in Hillarys just off Broadbeach Boulevarde, and is a great park for adventurous kids with a flying fox and a lake to walk or ride around.
The single cable flying fox is the obvious most popular feature. It’s well placed alongside natural shading. It’s well elevated and is lots of fun to do again and again.
The main plagyround is boat shade, and right alongside the playground is a smaller toddler playground, making this a great park for all ages.
And of course what is a park without a swing!
For the bigger kids there is also a basket ball hoop near the playground.
Bring along the pram, small bikes and scooters. There is a lovely path around the lake here. It’s approx a 500m round walk, so a good one for a bit of exercise before, during or after your play.
While the lake is not clearly visible from the playground, it is in close proximity so be sure to supervise children closely at this park to ensure they do not wander near the water unsupervised.
With BBQs and picnic tables (not toilets however) Broadbeach Park Hillarys is a beautiful park for a play and to meet with friends, or hold that special gathering. Don’t forget to pack the pram , scooters , smart trikes and small bikes , and a basketball for the bigger kids, for the perfect morning or afternoon out.
