The Busselton Foreshore Playground is located alongside the iconic Busselton Jetty and is a must visit while in Busselton. With night time lighting and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby you can play day or night and enjoy a meal and a play too.

The playground features a huge wooden ship that is tipping because of the whale that is swimming underneath it.

One one side is the whale tale which is also a water play features, just press the button and water sprays from the end of the tail. On the other side is the head of the whale that kids can climb through and over.

Both on board the ship and underneath there is so much to explore. There is a bell to ring, talk tubes, a cannon, the ships steer, telescope and of course a bird nest to climb up to.

The giant squid is also a fun feature of this playground. Kids can climb all over it and if you look closely, there is button on the treasure chest that activates sprays from the squids tentacles.

The main playground features are quite challenging and present an element of risk, so are mostly suited to older children. Younger children will enjoy the water play features, in addition to the squid and whale water features, there is a water pump alongside the ship plus a nature based play area with slide and a swing.

A toddler play space also on the Busselton Foreshore is now open and features nature and sensory play for youner children. A skate park is also located near the Toddler Play Space.

There is also a smaller playground just a short walk from the main Busselton Foreshore Playground if you it’s a little busy and you want a quieter place to play.

There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, with food, coffee and ice cream alongside the Busselton Foreshore Playground and with the playground well lit at night this is a lovely place to enjoy dining out at night while in Busselton.

And of course the beach is perfect for swimming at the Busselton Foreshore and you can walk along the jetty, catch the train along the jetty and also visit the Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory too. Toilets and BBQs are both located close to the playground.

The Busselton Foreshore Playground is the perfect place for the whole family to play and relax while in Busselton. Whether it be somewhere for a picnic or to head out for breakfast, lunch or dinner – The Busselton Foreshore has it all!
