California Pizza Kitchen at Hillarys Boat Harbour is the first Australian store from this large, popular American Pizza chain that boasts amazing views, friendly service, incredible food and everything you are looking for in family friendly dining.
Don’t let the name fool you there is lots to choose from on the menu other than just pizza, with a range of mains, salads, soups and pastas to enjoy also. We dined during the week at lunch time so got to experience the Lunch Duo’s options which are available Monday – Friday, 11.30am – 4pm and presents amazing value at just $13.50 each. Everyone at the table ordered a varied combination of Pizza or Half Sandwich + Salad or Soup.

Another Lunch Duo’s combination – Pepperoni Pizza and Adobe Chicken Chowder
The kids menu features a range of kids sized pizzas and a few other options which include Mac and Cheese, Kids Tomato Pasta, Kids Grilled Chicken and more. All kids meals are $10 and include a drink.
To keep the kids entertained there are activities on the kids menu, a kids play area with movies playing, blackboard and soft play – and if you ask kids can go up to the counter and play with some pizza dough.
Plenty of high chairs are available at the restaurant and there is lots of space in between tables for prams.
Choose from table and chairs, high stools or more relaxed lounge seating either on the elevated section alongside the kitchen or closer to the water and harbour views.

Whether you are after something fancy and substantial or affordable and light, California Pizza Kitchen is for you and your family. The service was spot on, the food was amazing and very affordable and of course you cannot beat looking over the stunning Hillarys Boat Harbour while you enjoy your meal. You can book your table at California Pizza Kitchen to save a waiting on arrival, howver they do also reserve a percentage of tables daily for walk ins.
