Castledare Miniature Railway is run on the first Sunday and third Sunday of the month alongside the beautiful Canning River. It usually runs on Wednesdays in the school holidays also.
See the Castledare Miniature Railway website to confirm run times and station locations (link below). The trains run from Niana Station on the 1st Sunday of the month, and Wilson Park Station on the 3rd Sunday of the month (maps below). You can purchase one ride tickets for $6 adults, $3 children, or get a mulitrider for $24 (kids under 2 ride free with an adult). You must wear closed in shoes or open toe shoes with a heel strap.
The Canning River area is just beautiful, you can enjoy a nature walk or ride around the river and nature trails while you are there, have a play at the playground and finish off with a visit to the Canning River Cafe . This truly is a stunning place to enjoy a day out in the fresh air amongst nature.
