Cicerello’s Fremantle Features: Seafood Restaurant | Cafe | Indoor & Outdoor Dining | Aquariums | Fish Feeding | Kids Meals | Colouring In | High Chairs | Open Daily | Licensed No BYO | Kids Parties | Kids Eat Free Tuesdays
Cicerello’s Fremantle is not just family friendly seafood dining it’s an underwater experience too. With world class aquariums throughout the restaurant and an opportunity to feed the fish in the Fishing Boat Harbour, Cicerello’s is a fun place to dine with kids when in Fremantle.
Right around the restaurant area (and even down the hallway to the toilets) are big aquariums that feature over 50 species of marine life that can be found in the waters local to Fremantle. Our 7 year old was very excited about spotting a “Michael Jackson” (Port Jackson) shark!
There’s also an aquarium that features some fascinating dangerous marine life.
Before you eat or perhaps while you are waiting for your meal, you can grab some fish food from the Cicerello’s Cafe for just $1. The food is not to be fed to the fish in the tanks, but to the fish behind the “Miss Cicerello’s” Boat in the harbour right in front of Cicerello’s. We were a bit sceptical about whether there would be in any fish, but low and behold, there they were just waiting right behind the boat. The kids loved it!
You don’t need to be dining at Cicerello’s to enjoy feeding the fish, just pop in and grab your fish food anytime. What a fun and cheap thing to do anytime you are in Fremantle.
Food orders are placed at the counter and your receive a buzzer to collect your meals when they are ready. The decor is very basic and atmosphere is casual. There is a big variety on the menu (including non seafood ittems). Being a seafood restaurant many of the items on the menu are quite expensive, but there are more affordable options as well.
I had the Fish of the Day and the kids had fish and chips and nuggets and chips and all our food was delicious.
You can also choose from a range of shared salads in the fridge to go with your meal. A big range of non-alcoholic drinks can also be chosen from the fridge also.
If fish and chips isn’t your cup of tea, they you can also enjoy a coffee and cake at Cicerello’s. The cafe section has a range of cakes, ice cream and lolly packs for the kids.
They have a well stocked colouring in station with lots of colouring in sheets and crayons to choose from. Even the big kids enjoyed some colouring in.
Choose from indoor and outdoor dining. The upper deck overlooking the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour is open in the warmer months and when it is busy or you can dine out on Cicerello’s Landing right alongside the waters edge.
You can also host your child’s party at Cicerello’s Fremantle onboard the Miss Cicerello, that can include a touch pool experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Cicerello’s Fremantle. It was great to see the kids off their ipads and talking about what they had spotted in the aquarium. Feeding the fish was an absolute highlight too. Esplanade Park & Youth Plaza is just across the road so you can enjoy a play before or after your dine. If you are in Fremantle and looking for somewhere to enjoy a meal with the family, you’ll love Cicerello’s – it’s open daily. Watch their facebook they sometimes have a bouncy castle outside in the school holidays and on special days.
