Playground | Toilets | BBQ | Drink Fountain
The Civic Centre Playground is a shady and quiet playground located in the Civic Centre gardens, just a short walk up from the Cottesloe foreshore.
The playground is ideal for younger children as it is semi enclosed by surrounding walls and gardens, very shady and usually quiet given it’s well hidden location amongst the beautiful Civic Centre gardens.
Shade cloth is located over the playground and the rest of the playground is well shaded by surrounding tall trees. Play equipment is suited to toddlers and preschoolers.
There are two main play structures, one a little bit bigger than the other, as well as monkey bars, slides, swings (including a toddler swing), a see-saw and a sandpit.
Up the stairs behind the park is a large grassed area that overlooks the ocean. Here you can also find the bbq, water fountain and toilet block. This is a beautiful spot to set up a picnic, kick a ball or fly a kite.
If you are in Cottesloe and want somewhere a little quieter to play or picnic, or want somewhere to enjoy a quiet catch up with friends, Cottesloe Civic Centre Playground is perfect.
