Family fun at Coogee Beach with a jetty., two water slide pontoons and a protected swimming area

Coogee Beach Features: Jetty | Two Waterslide Pontoons | Protected Swimming Area | Showers | Toilets | BBQs | Picnic Shelters | Cafe | Playground

Coogee Beach is a summer family must, with a a jetty, two waterslide pontoons, protected swimming area, cafe, playground and picnic area.

The beach is only a short walk from the carpark, with the main beach entrance leading to the jetty. The jetty has two levels with a ramp that goes down to a lower level where the kids can jump in the water and use the ladders to climb back out.

There are two waterslide pontoons here, one to the south of the jetty and one in the protected swimming area. The pontoons are in place seasonally and positions may vary from year to year.

The beach itself is well protected by surrounding reef so is generally quite calm with only small waves. If you wander to the next beach north of Coogee Beach you will find the Omeo Wreck Dive and Snorkel Maritime Trail.

There are showers at the main jetty entrance and several other showers at various beach entry points.

You can easily spend the day here with a big grassy reserve that features lots of picnic shelters all the way along with good access to BBQs and toilets

A shaded playground is located close to the main beach entrance and close to the Coogee Beach Cafe.

The Coogee Beach Cafe is open daily with various summer and winter hours (find more information on opening hours via the link below). The cafe features some indoor, but mainly outdoor dining.

Coogee Beach is a great place to spend the day with the family with everything you need for a fun day by the beach. There are two large carparks however parking may get a little difficult at peak times.
