Dick Lawrence Oval Play Space Beaconsfield is a small, naturally shaded playground located on the large Hilton Reserve Sports Ground.
The main feature of the playground is the multi level cubby house that’s accessible in a few different ways from the ground including steps, rock climb and ladder climb, so that all ages can access it.
Alongisde the cubby house is a low level wooden cargo rope climb with some balancing logs around it.
Plus a sand play table, basket swing and xylophone too.
A basketball court with a standard and lower ring is located on the other side of the oval away from the playground.
Hilton Reserve Beaconsfield is also has a disc golf course that goes right around the park.
Dick Lawrence Oval Play Space Beaconsfield is located under natural shade and has toilets in the clubrooms alongside the playground. There are also toilets and a water fountain across the oval at the basketball court. There are no BBQs at Hilton Reserve and there is plenty of parking (however it may get busy on sporting days).
If you are looking for somewhere to get a coffee and something to eat nearby, Mumma Bee is only a short walk away, just across the park and down Rennie Cres South.
If you like a playground that’s not too big, but still packed with fun and play features, you will love Dick Lawrence Oval Play Space Beaconsfield.
