Playground * Shopping Centre Nearby
Edgewater Park received an upgrade in 2015 and is a little different to how I remember it when we used to have a play after Mum had done the shopping every week. It used to have a little creek running through it, but we love how the council have maintained the contours of this park and built the playground into the gentle slope.
Edgewater Park is a small playground but has lovely natural shade and has something for kids of all ages to enjoy. Little ones will love sliding down the slides and running back up the hill to do it again.
The play structure features higher play features for the big kids at one end and lower play features at the other end for little ones.
Edgewater Park is located next to the small Edgewater Shopping Centre. Within the centre you will find an IGA and Edgewater Fish & Chips (open daily 4.30-8pm), so you can pop into IGA to grab some items for a picnic or bring your own along. Parking is in the shopping centre or you can drive around the back and park in Toona Garden.
