Fantasy Park in the outer southern suburbs of Perth, down Rockingham way in Waikiki (approx 50kms from Perth)i. Scattered through the park are lots of amazing dream time creatures, kids will love exploring this adventure and fantasy park.
This is a great park for kids that like to adventure, It play areas and fantasy creatures are spread all over the park and there are also some tunnels and shallow “caves” kids will love to explore. Each of the play areas are fairly small, but kids will love running from one to the other bumping into a giant dragon, turtle or snail on the way!
Near the main bbq area (you can find other bbq’s in other parts of the park) there are these caves and tunnels that kids love the explore. And there is a large sheltered area here with picnic tables, so it’s a great location for a family get together or party.
The park also features this concreted “swamp” area – that I assume turns into a creek in winter. The concrete is on a slight incline and appears as though the water would pool at the end, so kids can splash in the shallow pooled water in their gumboots – but they need to watch out for the crocodiles nearby. We are calling this Fantasy Creek.
There is plenty of grassed area around for kicking a ball, and there is also a basketball ring for the bigger kids to enjoy. Its a big park with hills and tunnels and caves so don’t expect to sit back and relax this park is strictly for explorers only.
