Fern Park Playground Riverton in located alongside the beautiful Canning River in Wilson. It features a gorgeous little nature based playground with low level slides and platforms, and nature play features like a water fountain and lots of rocks and logs to climb and balance on.
Make sure you take the spare clothes along as the water play feature is pretty popular with the little ones.
Bring a bucket and some sand toys too – this makes it all the more fun

The Lo Quay Cafe (open daily) is located right alongside the playground. There is indoor dining if it’s too hot or raining or you can enjoy outdoor dining outside on the grass right alongside the playground. This is a great place to dine with the family dog too.
The Lo Quay Cafe has a great range of drinks, light meals & sweets to choose from and is open daily – there are high chairs available to use. You can also bring a picnic along or use the bbq located not far from the playground. They have takeaway coffee so you can grab a coffee to enjoy while watching your kids at the playground too. Parking can be tricky on a busy day. There is roadside parking and a small car park. Be prepared to park on the other side of the bridge and make the short walk over the bridge to the park on a busy day.
