February in Perth is a big month for concerts – with several family friendly concerts held across Perth.  The weather is perfect for packing a picnic and the picnic rug and enjoy some tunes at one of Perth’s beautiful parks. Here is a list of free concerts you can enjoy throughout February


Saturday 4th – Summerset Concert Feat Methyl Ethel, Stirling CivicGardens

Celebrate the final weekendof the Summerset Arts Festival with a FREE all ages concert! Local alt-pop project Methyl Ethel will headlinethis epic free live music event. Supporting Methyl Ethel will be Brisbane indiepoppers Cub Sport , as well as Lucy Peach and Jack Davies . Saturday 4th– Sundowner Concert feat. Jasmine Atkins and Jony Taylor, Keith Holmes ReserveMandurah

Head along to Keith Holmes Reserve for aSundowner Concert featuring the sweet sounds of alternative country artistJasmine Atkins and the soft rock tones of Jonny Taylor. Sunday 5th – Summer Concert feat. TheBrow, Hyde Park Perth

Acclaimed hip hop outfit The Brow will bring you combination of hip-hop, electronicand soul to your evening in the park. 7pm to 10pm www.vincent.wa.gov.au

Sunday 5th –Sunset at Subi feat Funk Club House Band, Market Square Subiaco

The Funk Club House Band will perform a mix of scorching guitar licks,soulful vocals, fat horns and a dance floor you won’t be able to leave. 5pm to 7pm www.subiaco.wa.gov.au

Sunday 12th -Summer Concerts in the Park Feat. Summers Soul, Mason Gardens Dalkieth

This Perth cover band willperform a combination of mowton, R&B, soul and chart toppers. They will beplaying songs from artists such as; Stevie Wonder, Jackson 5, Beyonce, PharellWilliams and Bruno Mars, Florence and the Machine and more. Sunday 12th – Sunset at Subifeat The Brow, Market Square Subiaco

When acclaimed Perth hip-hopband, The Brow cometo Market Square you know it’s a sunset@subi concert not to miss. Their uniquesound combines hip-hop and electronic sounds with the eclectic styles of eachband member to create a sound that is ultimately cohesive and recognisable as‘The Brow’. 5pm to 7pm www.subiaco.wa.gov.au

Saturday 18th – Illuminate Night PartyFeat. Pete Murray, Gosnells Oval

Decoy provides a fun,interactive party atmosphere with a wide range of well executed music spanningsix decades – guaranteed to be enjoyed by all! Summer Concerts are free to attend! Sunday 19th – Summer Concerts feat Salt Tree, Banks Reserve Mt Lawley

Bringing you the Summer vibes all the way from Margaret River are the guys from Salt Tree! Salt Tree’s style ranges from laid back acoustic to upbeat folk. 5:30pm to 7:30pm www.vincent.wa.gov.au

Saturday 25th – Fiesta Concert Sir James Mitchell Park South Perth

Australian singer-songwriter Emma Louise will be performing a free concert supported by singer-songwriter Thelma Plum. There will also be a family activity area and a gourmet food village. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display launched from the Swan River. Festivities run from 5pm to 9:30pm. For more information head to southperth.wa.gov.au

Saturday 25th – Dami Im Concert, Hammond Reserve Success

Dami Im performing live featuring support act by the Fisherboys and MC Tyrone Thwaites. This is a free family-friendly event, with food and drink will be available to purchase on site. 7pm -9:30 pm. www.cockburn.wa.gov.au

Sunday 26th – Summer Concerts in the Park feat. Murphy’s Lore, Dot Bennett Park Nedlands

Murphy’s Lore are regarded as one of Perth’s best corporate rock bands. Murphy’s Lore play a diverse range of well know rock classics and songs to dance to. This band will have something for everyone! 5:30pm -7:00pm www.nedlands.wa.gov.au

Sunday 26th – Summer Concerts feat. GraceBarbe, Hyde Park Perth

Come see  GraceBarbe with her “Afro-Kreol” style – acolourful and energetic fusion of tropical island rhythms with Africanpercussion, reggae, pop, rock and latin flavours. 5:30pm to 7:30pm. www.vincent.wa.gov.au
