Giant Park Bushmead Features: Adventure Playground | Picnic Shelter | BBQ | Water Fountain | No Toilets
Climb to giant heights to see if you can spot the three giants that live at the adventurous Giant Park Bushmead, located amongst the natural settings on the door step to the Perth hills in the Leeuwin Gardens Reserve.
The elevated cubby houses with a rope bridge that connects them is the perfect way to look out over the park to spot all the giants and admire the surrounding bushland. Once they’ve spotted the giants they can slide back down to go and meet them face to face.
You may wonder whether you are looking for the giants or they are looking at you with eyes and feet found throughout the playground.
There are lots of play features for all ages with plenty of fun to be had on the ground, including nature based play.
A birdnest swing, tunnels, low level slides and an easy to access concrete fort.
There’s also some grassed area to picnic or kick a ball around.
A large picnic shelter is located alongside the playground with seating, BBQs and a water fountain (with dog bowl) nearby. There are no toilets at this playground however.
Giant Park Bushmead, while giant in name and giant in the creatures that live here, is one those compact playgrounds that’s packed with play features but makes it easy to keep track of the kids.
