Glasson Park, located on George St in East Fremantle. It’s a gorgeous little park that has just been done up and has something for kids of all ages to enjoy. There is free parking right alongside George St, and the streets surrounding Glasson Park, however spaces are limited.
The larger playground is suited to the bigger kids, but for the little ones there is this great little dinosaur slide as well as lots of play features around the main playground. All kids will love the unique sand play features (sorry I seem to have lost the photos but there are some sand shape stencils and a sand funnel play feature near the playground), and the balancing wind surfer.
Big kids will love the basketball court which is right alongside the playground within the fenced area. So this makes this playground great if you have big kids and little kids, you can watch them both while they enjoy the features of this great little playground.
There are several unsheltered (but naturally well shaded) picnic tables near the BBQs, so this park makes a great place for a family gathering or to meet friends for a bbq or picnic lunch. There is lots of green grassed area for a picnic too.
