John Dunn Challenge Park Kelmscott Features: 4 Bike Tracks | Playground | Nature Based Play | Bike Maintenance Station | Water Fountain | Toilets | No BBQs | Fenced Dog Park Nearby

John Dunn Challenge Park Kelmscott is the place to be for big and little kids who love to ride their bike. This park is perfect for little ones just starting out on their bikes right up to advanced bike riding adrenaline junkies. The size of some of the jumps at this park and the air time the riders get will have you gasping for air! With four bike tracks, a trainer track, mini track, intermdiate track and advanced track there is a level to suit everyone.

While the big bike pump track is the main attraction at this park there is also a small playground with a bike skills track that  goes around it, perfect for the little ones to play and roll.

The “Trainer Track” goes all the way around the outside and features traffic signs, road markings and gentle bumps. They playground has a slide, swing and nature based play.

Alongside the kids playground and bike skills track are two bike pump tracks. The mini bike pump track,

and the intermediate bike pump track.

From here it is onto the Advanced bike bump track which is quite the leap from the intermediate track with huge jumps that make for some epic air time for the dare devil rider.

Toilets are located near the playground and advanced bike pump track as well as a couple of picnic shelters and a water fountain also. There are no BBQs at this park however.

With all this bike riding action there’s bound to be the chance your bike may need some repairs, so this bike repair station is pretty handy and a bit of fun for kids who like to tinker.

A fenced dog park is located next to John Dunn Challenge Park, however dogs are not permitted within the Challenge Park area.

The John Dunn Memorial Park in which Challenge Park is located, is also a large sporting venue, with sports oval, club rooms and another playground at the top of the sports oval. There is plenty of parking near Challenge Park and around the grounds.

For families that love to ride their bikes a visit to John Dunn Challenge Park Kelmscott is an absolute must. It’s open 8am to dusk.
