Jungle Park Whiteman Edge Brabham

Go wild at the huge Jungle Park next time you are in the Swan Valley

Jungle Park Whiteman Park Brabham: Adventure Playground | Trampolines | Picnic Shelter | Water Fountain | BBQs | No Toilets

Today we were lucky enough to visit be one of the first to play at Jungle Park, Whiteman Edge  in Brabham. This new park is state of the art – and frankly pretty amazing! Surrounded by beautiful lawn and gardens, the Jungle Park caters to children of all ages (and adventurous adults)!

When we first entered the park the kids enjoyed jumping on the three small in ground trampolines.

We then moved on the sand play area with funnel and scoop. Within the sand pit area there is climbing/balance stumps and blocks, a small rope climbing net, lookout house and slide.

The main attraction is a gigantic climbing apparatus with ample rope climbing nets, rope bridge, walkway bridge and rock climbing wall surrounding it. Our 3 year old managed to climb up the main 7m tall climbing tower (with parental assistance). Inside the tower it is netted/sectioned off between each level of the climbing tunnel to prevent falls and at the top is a large birds next to access the big slide back down. The tunnel slide was thoroughly enjoyed by both the little and big kids and to add to the thrill it was pitch black inside the slide.

There are no traditional swings within the park but there is a basket swing, a dragon-type rope swing and a rope merry go round swing. All were great fun.

The rope merry go round swing requires kids on each side to work well.

There is a small empty man made creek with dinosaur footprints in it. Thanks to the rain the footprints were full of water which added to the fun.

Nearby there is a stand on see saw and many wooden bridges to cross the creek. Park benches are dotted throughout the park so finding somewhere to sit was not a problem.

T here are two bbqs next to an undercover area, which also boasts a water fountain. Ample lawn areas will be the home of my picnics as the weather starts to warm up.

Rockscape stairs on either side on the main structure lead up to a lookout which overlooks a boardwalk, balance logs and peaceful pond.

The boardwalk surrounds the lake which makes for a relaxing stroll and there are some logs for some nature play by the lake. Note: there are open bodies of water so please ensure you supervise children closely.

The only features missing is a toilet block and parking lot, so street parking may cause some congestion. Livvi’s Place Playground is just down the road and has toilets so it may be worth dropping by here first for a toilet stop. Just note there is only one set of 2 barbeques, so there could be a bit of a wait for the bbq on a busy day. Overall, the park and playground was fantastic and will provide hours of laughter and entertainment to children of all ages.
