If your kids are crazy about water slides and could go up and down all day, you can definitely make a day of your visit to Kalamunda Water Park. There are two enclosed water slides, the Zig Zag and the Corkscrew. Both slides are on the thrill seeker side of the scale, one is very fast and the other throws you around quite a bit. They are both lots of fun and definitely scream worthy. There is no tandem riding so kids must ride alone, and must be 5 years or older.  The old speed slide from the Wet & Wild Days is still in place but is blocked off and out of commission. The water slides are open weekends and school holidays.

For the younger ones the kiddies area is perfect. Here there are two small pools joined together one 20cm and the other only 30cm deep and are both well shaded.

Within the kiddies pool are a couple of fixed sit on play toys and lots of beach and bath type toys floating around to play with. There are lots of shady, grassy spots around the kiddies area, so it’s a good place to base yourself if you have young children.

There are three pools in the main area. An 8 lane, 50 m pool (ranging from 1-3m deep) with lots of leisure area and a few big inflatable rings to play with. For the younger ones there are two smaller pools, one 80cm deep and the other 40cm deep.
