Kidsland Mt Lawley (Coolbinia) proves that bigger isn’t always better. If you are looking for a smaller play centre that makes it easy to supervise your children while they have fun then check out the improved Kidsland Indoor Playground & Cafe, under new management from June 2015.
You wont be there too long before the kids are straight up the play structure to access the top of the tall, long and super fast slide. Younger kids may need help getting to the top, but adults can assist children and enjoy having a slide with their kids (just check first with management if it’s ok if you have a go, this will usually be ok)
For the little kids there is a strictly under 2’s are that is fenced and features a ball pit, small bouncy castle and play toys and this is right alongside the cafe area.
There is also a multilevel play structure also recommended for 4 years +, with tunnels, slides and a big ball pit
There are a few little ride on toys and a basketball ring and soft balls to shoot, which my 5yo and I played for over an hour – which was great exercise for both of us! Here you will also find some arcade games which are free to play (coins required for skill tester however).
The cafe has a good range of hot & cold food and drinks, with kids meals just $6 which includes various meals, chips and a juice box. The cafe area is a good size, and well located so you can keep an eye on the kids while enjoying a coffee or snack. I enjoyed a delicious cupcake and mocha, while Master 5 gobbled up his nuggets and chips after working up an appetitie going up and down the big slide.
They also have a great party room with party packages starting from $15 per child. It’s a great place to meet up with friends, ask them about booking a Mother’s Group table on Mondays for just $20 (up to 5 Mums, includes a coffee & one child entry)
Kidsland Mt Lawley/Coolbinia is a clean, safe, fun play centre for kids of all ages. It is owned by a mother & daughter team who have made some great changes since taking over in June 2015 – with lots more changes and new things to come.
If you find it difficult to keep an eye on your child at a big play centre then you will love Kidsland, it’s a smaller play centre – but packed with fun. Make sure you give the a like on Facebook to keep up to date on what’s happening at this great centre.

Accessibility: Note there are a few stairs to get down to the play area. There is an automatic ramp that can assist wheelchairs and prams down the stairs if required. These stairs and automatic ramp are also required to access the toilets.
