Leisure Fit Booragoon is an aquatic centre located in the City of Melville, not far from the Garden City Booragoon Shopping Centre. Whether you are wanting a casual swim for the kids or somewhere to enjoy some exercise, Leisure Fit has facilities for the whole family.
If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a family swim on a hot day, Leisure Fit Booragoon features a leisure pool (heated to 32 deg) with beach access, which is located alongside the 25m lap pool indoors. The leisure pool and lap pool are segreated by a yellow wall and there is also a spa area in the middle between the leisure pool and lap pool. The leisure pool features a bubbler and a couple of spray features and the deepest area is approx 1m deep.
During the warmer months a water playground with tipping buckets, water sprays and a water slide operates in a small shaded courtyard near the leisure pool. From what we have been told this is a fairly tempremental water playground – so if you have your heart set on enjoying the water playground during your visit we recommend you call first to confirm it is operating.
If it’s some exercise for yourself that you are after there is a 50m indoor lap pool (heated to 27 deg) and as well as a gym and group classes that you can join casually or via a membership. A creche is available for kids 8 weeks – pre primary age.
There isn’t a cafe at Leisure Fit Booragoon, however there is an area with tables and chairs away from the pool area where you can enjoy a packed lunch or something from the vending machines. Entry fees are found on the website. Kids 0-5 years enter free with an adult.
