On this occasion we visited Little Creatures Fremantle for breakfast (Breakfast is served on weekends). The breakfast menu has something for everyone with a great range of pastries (the kids enjoyed a croissant each) from $4, continental breakfast options like fruit toast from $6 and of course the full breakfast too ($14-20). There was even a vegemite and cheese pizza on the menu, I couldn’t talk the kids into ordering this one!  Note: Little Creatures is not currently doing weekend breakfast.

Out the back is a great view of Fremantle Harbour and a big sand pit for the kids to play in.  We arrived right on opening on Sunday morning and most the area was shaded so it was pretty cold, but they had heaters going, and it wasn’t long before the sun made it’s way up and we got a table by the water in the sun.

After eating the kids enjoyed a play in the big sand pit. It’s well shaded and there are several tables right alongside the sand pit. The back area is well fenced off from the Fremantle Harbour.

It can get vary busy at Little Creatures Fremantle, it’s a big brewery with lots of dining across the indoor and outdoor dining areas, so we recommend getting there early if you want to get a good table close to the sand pit before the peak eating times. Check out their big blackboard at the front too, with info about what’s on at the brewery. You can enjoy daily brewery tours at 12 & 3pm and they often host live entertainment here. Just note they don’t have high chairs and while it’s a little congested outside there is room for prams alongside most of the tables.
