MacDonald Reserve Playground Padbury is a beautiful naturally shady park that features nature based play and is the perfect place to play with little ones and to meet with friends.

The playground features a beautiful nature based play section with a wooden fort, balancing logs and rocks that leads down a gentle incline to the traditional playground.

Timbers from the original Ocean Reef Boat Harbour have been re-used within the playground

At the bottom of the incline is a small playground, suitable for younger children with sand play, noughts and crosses game and a set of swings.

Around the playground are limestone blocks with insects painted on them. Challenge the kids to see how many insects they can find.

Alongside the playground is a large bike skills track. Complete with road markings, signs, parking bays – this is the perfect place for little ones to ride their small bikes or scooters safely and learn some road rules at the same time.

Located under beautiful natural shade, this is a lovely spot to spend a few hours with a BBQ and picnic table close to the playground. Toilets are located at the club rooms on the other side of the oval and are open from 6am – 8pm.  Please also note that dogs are not permitted at MacDonald Reserve Padbury.

MacDonald Reserve Playground is shady all day long so it’s a lovely spot to catch up with friends or take younger kids for a play for a few hours anytime of the day.
