Midway Southbound and Midway Northbound are located exactly 90kms south of Perth and 90kms north of Bunbury and it’s the perfect stop for the whole fur family to stop and stretch their legs with a fuel stop, foodaries, coffee, a fenced kids playground and a fenced dog park.
Whether you are heading down south or on your way back from a South West getaway this is a good stop for the whole family to stretch their legs, including the family dog. Southbound and Northbound are essentially identical. The fenced dog park (Panda’s Dog Paddock Southbound and Baxter’s Dog Run Northbound) is a good sized fully fenced grassed area with a tap and water bowl. Doggie bags are located at the gate entry. Shaded seating is available right alongside the dog park.
The small kids playground is right alongside the dog park so you can keep an eye on the furkids and your children. It’s shaded and also fully fenced.
Midway is an opportunity to refuel your car (and yourself) at the Caltex Service Station any time of the day or night as it is open 24 hours a day and 7 days per week. If you are feeling a little hungry or need a coffee there are many outlets to choose from including The Foodary, Boost, Miami Bakehouse, Chook Bros, Saraba’s To Go and Spices Paradise Express (Burger Edge coming soon). You can dine indoors or if you have your dog you can take your food to eat outside at one of the many shaded picnic tables. While the Caltex is open 24 hours most of the other food and drink vendors are open from around 6am – 6pm daily (please check with each vendor as opening hours may vary)
No more stopping on the side of the road to let your dog stretch their legs and let them do their business, Midway Southbound and Northbound is now your halfway stop on your next holiday down south or on your way back from a South West getaway. Or perhaps you live down this way and want to meet with friends for coffee, this is also a great spot to meet.
