We organised a mobile laser tag birthday party with Mobile Laser Quest Commanding Officer Phil at our local park in August earlier this year. We were very blessed with the most amazing sunny afternoon that was sandwiched between two of the worst winter days, so we were very fortunate. However we were ready for battle rain, hail or shine with party guests bringing along rain coats just in case Mother Nature wasn’t so kind.

Commanding Officer Phil arrived well before the party to set up the inflatable obstacles and nets, which included a large inflatable tank. There were lots of wide eyed kids, getting excited as they arrived, keen to get started once they saw the awesome battlefield all set up. Phil started by setting up the first two teams and getting them dressed in their camouflage gear, then giving them a run down on the battle stategy and how the laser guns work.

The guns emit some awesome battle sounds so the whole field was electric with excitement as the kids started running, hiding and stealthing their friends.

Before the last round Commanding Officer Phil organised a kids vs parents round. I can tell you this was not just fun for the kids, us grown ups had super fun too and talked about organising Mobile Laser Quest for an end of term grown ups party.

Commanding Officer Phil did an amazing job of herding the 18+ kids into two teams over about 4 rounds. Being an after school party we only had a short amount of time so just booked the Mobile Laser Quest party for one hour. This was more than enough with all the kids suitably worn out at the end and happy to get into some food and cake. Before we did this Phil organised us all so some photos could be taken to capture the perfect party memory.

The birthday boy received a dog tag with his name and birthday on it, and hat from Commanding Officer Phil, then it was time to feed the troops and round up the party so they could get home and crash out! Thanks Phil for an amazing birthday, Ben had a fantastic time, and Mum was the talk of the school the next day having thrown the best party ever. Just remember if you are hosting a party in the park or other public place, check with your local council to see if there are any booking requirements.
