Northbridge Brewing Co by Beerland is found in the heart of Northbridge just a short walk from the Perth Cultural Centre and is a great place to eat with kids. It’s especially perfect if you are looking for a family friendly inner city brewery experience.
The Northbridge Piazza is located right alongside the Northbridge Brewing Company, which features a large grassed area and big super screen that runs all year round and shows movies in the warmer months, including family friendly movies at their popular Free Flicks for Kids Saturdays and Northbridge Piazzarama event on the first Sunday of the month from September to May (dates may vary from year to year).
If it’s a nice day you can enjoy dining outdoors or in the alfresco area. The kids will love running around on the grass while you wait for your meals.
There is an upper deck with lots of seating overlooking the Piazza but it’s easier to dine with kids downstairs so they can run around on the grass. Upstairs is a good place to dine and enjoy watching sports on tv and you can get a good view of the brewing process from here also.
The service here was so friendly. All the staff where amazing and it was nice that they all stopped to have a quick chat to ask how our day was going, there is definitely a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere here. I enjoyed the Wagyu Beef Sliders and my friend had the Blackened Chicken, both were so delicious and filling! We each had a glass of crisp white wine with our meal which topped off this lovely warm and sunny day by the Piazza. We weren’t dining with kids on this occassion but they have high chairs and a great kids menu which features several choices including a ham & cheese pizza ($8) up to steak & chips ($12).
If you are in the city or Northbridge and are looking for somewhere to enjoy a nice meal and drink where you and your family will be welcomed, you can’t go past the Northbridge Brewing Co by Beerland. There is something for the whole family to enjoy and it’s well located in the warmer months too when the Northbridge Piazza events kick off. They are open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch or dinner or to just pop in and enjoy a drink and a snack or light meal.
