The Northbridge Piazza is a free outdoor cinema that runs all year round but comes to life with special movie events in Spring and Summer each year. It has a large grassed area with lots of bean bags under a huge outdoor LED screen, which makes in a great place to watch a movie and let the kids run around while the parents relax.
For families the best times to enjoy the Northbridge Piazza are for the Free Flicks for Kids on Saturday evenings with a movie screening from 6pm each night during the season. The Northbridge Piazza is located on the cnr of James & Lake Streets Northbridge, and is only about a 5 minute walk from the Perth Train Station (just walk across the bridge to the Perth Cultural Centre then head down James St).
There are lots of food venues around the Northbridge Piazza where you can dine in or grab something to takeaway. Next door is San Churro, and next door to that is Cold Rock . A few more shops down is Outback Jacks and the Northbridge Brewing Co is located right alongside the Piazza.
What to Bring: there is a little bit of shade but if you don’t get a shady spot make sure you are prepared with sunscreen and hats. There are lots of bean bags, but if it is busy there may not be enough for everyone so bring a picnic rug along. Pack a picnic (no alcohol) or get some takeaway from a local cafe or restaurant
Toilets: There are toilets located in nearby cafes and restaurants, or there are public toilets just across the road

How to Get There: Catch the train and walk through the Perth Cultural Centre and down James St to Lake St or park the car in a nearby parking lot. There are Wilson parking lots on James St and Roe St nearby.
