Oakover Grounds Swan Valley is located just off the Great Northern Hwy in Middle Swan and is the ultimate family friendly Swan Valley Winery experience.
Oakover Grounds is open daily and does a snack menu Mondays & Tuesdays, lunch Wednesdays – Sundays and breakfast Saturday & Sundays.
The most unique feature at Oakover Grounds is the free to use pedal boats. Just pop on a life jacket and jump on one of the three pedal boats and paddle around the dam. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all time when on the pedal boats. If you want to give the pedal boats a go, it’s best to visit with at least two adults if you have young children so that one can accompany the kids and the other can stay on the shore to watch the other children around the water.
Alongside the dam is also an adventure playground that is in view of the dining areas also.
You can choose from indoor, alfresco and outdoor dining and even dine on the outdoor benches out on the lawn or bring along a picnic rug and set yourself up on the lawn. There are some garden games to enjoy out on the lawn as well.
Before you go be sure to wander the Oakover Grounds Market Place. You’ll find a huge range of local produce and gifts for that special something for someone or for yourself.
There’s something for everyone at Oakover Grounds Swan Valley, with Fiori coffee tasting, wine tasting, pedal boats, fishing and a playground. This really is the perfect place if you are looking for a family friendly Swan Valley experience.
