Adventure Playground | Nature Based & Sensory Play | Picnic Tables | BBQs | Large Grassed Area | No Toilets

The Orang-utan Parkin Golden Bay is full of climbing challenges for daring adventurers. This parkis aimed at older kids or those who are capable climbers. If you have visitedthe Orang-utan enclosure at Perth Zoo, this park has similar structures to itwith three large podiums, swinging ropes and leafless tree trunks.

The three largepodiums have an assortment of climbing structures. There is a sky high rockclimbing wall, rope ladder, climbing net and massive fireman’s pole. There’salso a slide which runs down one of the podiums.

On ground level thereare a few sets of musical drums, balancing logs, basket swing and brightlycoloured blue and yellow tractor wheels.

The play area iscovered in a mix of sand, softfall and rocks. Unfortunately there aren’t anyshade covers or large trees to shade the playground, so I expect it will be quitehot in summer. The definite favourite of the day was the rockclimbing wall. I haven’t come across one that is this large before

The park alsooffers a large grassed area with football goal posts, picnic benches and abarbeque, however there are no toilets.
