It’s also a greatopportunity to get a photo with Santa which can be booked ahead of time or showup on the day and wait in line. In its 45th year running, the RAC Christmas Pageant is a Perth Christmas Tradition. This year the streets of Perth will light up with an exciting displayof new floats, old Christmas favourites and entertainers. Starting from 7:30pm,the Pageant will begin at the corner of William St and St Georges Tce and makeits way down St Georges Tce to Ozone Reserve. Friday, 9th December
Give the kids a northern hemisphere Christmas experience with a special Christmas Rug Rats on Ice Snow Session. Build a snow man and enjoy morning tea with Santa. 9-12pm. $25 per child includes photo with Santa, morning tea, lolly bag and a present from Santa.
Saturday, 10th December
The City of Cockburnis hosting Christmas on the Green , with lots of free festive fun at MacFaull Park, Pomfret Road, Spearwood from 5pm to 8pm. Theevent will include:

Sunday, 11th December
A special new event this year sees ForrestPlace turned into a grassed Santa’s Down Under Workshop . Kids can make awind-chime gift or gumnut tree ornament, decorate a Christmas cupcake and get avisit with Santa. Runs from 10am to 9pm.
Monday, 12th December

Lights in the Heights is one of Perth’s best FREE annualChristmas events, and is held at C3HH Padbury. A night out of an amazing display of lights, Christmas trees, kids activities and family fun, with somethingbigger and better every year. You need to register for a free ticket to enter. Saturday, 17th December

Sunday, 18th December
For the first time in its 72 year historythe IGA Carols by Candlelight hosted by the City of Perth will be a FREE event. Gates at LangleyPark open at 1pm, with kids’ rides and entertainment available. The mainconcert will begin at 7:30pm. Bring along a picnic and enjoy a sing along toall your favourite carols. Monday, 19th December
Visit one of the large, lit up Christmastrees of Perth at either Kings Square in Fremantle or Elizabeth Quay in Perth.
Fremantle – The magnificent Moreton Bay Fig in Kings Square comes to lifewith thousands of fairy lights (lights on from December 2nd)

Head to Forrest Place in Perth City with thewhole family and experience a traditional Christmas Nativity . This event isfree with pre-show entertainment beginning at 6:30pm. Stay afterwards towitness the Christmas projection lights on the GPO .

Wednesday, 21st December
Head to your local shopping centre for some Christmas Activites. Contact your local centre to find out what’s on. Ocean Keys Clarkson has a Christmas Craft Station daily between 1st-24th December with a different craft to make each day. This is also a Shop and Drop, so you can leave your children (3-12yrs) for up to 1.5hrs so you can get some last minute shopping done.
Thursday, 22nd December
Every Thursday and Friday at 12pm inDecember, Ikea Perth will show you how to make a gingerbread house anddemonstrate options for the dough and other delicacies. Afterwards, you can book the kids into Smaland (4-10yrs) for up to an hour, and browsethrough the Christmas Vinter 2016 range to get some last minute shopping done. Friday, 23rd December
Head to your favourite beach and make a Australian “Snow”man. Bring along a Santa hat, scarf, sun glasses, carrots etc for props, and see what you can collect from the beach to bring your sandy snowman to life.
