The playground is 3/4 fenced to provide protection from the shared pathway that runs alongside the playground. This shared pathway goes up and down the coast in both directions, so you can add a walk to your play. The foreshore features a few picnic shelters and toilets. No BBQs are available however. There is plenty of parking with a large carpark in front of the playground.

If you are looking for a coffee or refreshments to take to the park, Hillarys Boat Harbour and Lot One Kitchen is only a short drive away. Additionally there is usually a coffee van and food truck on the corner of Whitfords Ave and Northshore Drive.
